The holiday season in Fort Worth, Texas, will soon come to a close. Bid farewell to 2022 and welcome 2023 with a bang by viewing the community’s New Year’s Eve fireworks display. You can use the following list as a guide to help you find the best places to catch fireworks in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

ArtPark Trinity Groves

ArtPark Trinity Groves is an outdoor cocktail and beer garden in West Dallas. The space — part social hub, a part art gallery with rotating works from local artists — is a dynamic place to go for drinks and entertainment in Dallas. Dozens of Trinity Grove restaurants surround ArtPark, offering plenty of places to pick up something tasty to eat while exploring the area.

In 2021, ArtPark Trinity Groves hosted a New Year’s Eve celebration that offered attendees an all-inclusive VIP area with food, desserts, and cocktails to ring in the new year. This location also provided a prime spot to watch the Dallas night sky light up with the city’s annual New Year’s Eve fireworks display.

Dallas City Hall Plaza

Although no official public celebrations are planned for Dallas City Hall Plaza as of Nov. 15, the plaza offers an attractive spot for viewing the city’s New Year’s Eve fireworks display at midnight. If you’re planning to watch the fireworks from this location, be prepared to encounter crowds as Dallas residents and visitors gather to ring in the new year.

Alternatively, you can catch the fireworks display while driving in and around downtown Dallas.

NYElectric W Dallas Rooftop New Year’s Eve Party 2023

Ring in the new year 33 floors up at W Dallas Hotel’s Altitude rooftop. You’ll enjoy extraordinary views of the magnificent New Year’s Eve fireworks display while you sip on champagne and dance into the night. This posh New Year’s Eve event, held from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., features the following:

• Five hours of prepaid premium drinks.
• Complimentary New Year’s Eve party favors.
• A stellar VIP area with a private balcony and private bar.
• Top Dallas open-format DJs.
• One Electric Countdown Celebration.

The dress is cocktail attire, upscale chic, or black tie, but this is optional. Tickets start at $159 per person and are available for purchase online.

Reunion Tower “Over The Top NYE 2023” Fireworks Show

This is one of the premier fireworks events in Dallas-Fort Worth. The seventh annual Reunion Tower “Over The Top NYE 2023” fireworks show will go off on Saturday, Dec. 31, at 11:59 p.m. Watch as fireworks dazzle the Dallas skyline with an explosion of color as you and your loved ones welcome the dawn of 2023. The experience offers the only 360-degree view of fireworks spectaculars in the Central time zone. Last year’s celebration featured 5,000 pyrotechnics and LED lights and a 225-drone light show southwest of the tower.

Presented by Reunion Tower and Hunt Realty Investments, this spectacular firework event benefits Children’s Health via the Reunion Tower NYE Foundation. The Hyatt Regency Dallas will offer a sumptuous dinner buffet, live-action stations, and a DJ. Monduel’s Bar will serve colossal cocktails to ring in the new year. If you prefer celebrating from the comfort of your home, NBC5/KXAS will air the fireworks show as part of its “Lonestar NYE Live!” special from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. If you’re within viewing distance of Reunion Tower, you can tune in to 98.7 FM KLUV for an audio simulcast. Reunion Tower’s Facebook Live and YouTube platforms will also provide live feeds of the New Year’s Eve program and fireworks display.

Note: There will be no public viewing of the fireworks available from within or on the grounds of the Reunion Tower.

2023 New Year’s Eve, 12 Stories High

Ring in the new year 12 stories up at the HQ Dallas Rooftop Bar + Lounge at the Courtyard Dallas Downtown hotel. The setting for “2023 New Year’s Eve, 12 Stories Up” offers a stunning view of the Reunion Tower “Over The Top NYE 2023” fireworks show (see the section above) from the open-air indoor and outdoor lounge.

Your ticket to this event includes an open bar featuring some of your favorite beverages and drinks, including Crown Royal and Bombay Gin. Raise your exclusive engraved Champagne flute for a toast at midnight while watching the fireworks explode in the Dallas night sky. Dance to the music provided by the DJ and pose for a souvenir photo from the event at the on-site 360 photo booth.

The “2023 New Year’s Eve, 12 Stories High” event begins at 9 p.m. and runs until 1 a.m. on New Year’s Day.

Early-bird general admission for Over the Top is $200 per person through Dec. 20. Last-chance general admission is $300 per person. Tickets are available through the Eventbrite website.
