Coyote Drive-In is a cherished staple of the Fort Worth community. Currently, it shows one movie on all four screens every night, but that may change. Check online to see what’s playing. You can also book a private screening. When you arrive, turn your car radio to the proper FM frequency to hear the movie. And if you get hungry, you can order food from the Coyote Canteen, either in-person or online for pickup or delivery to your car. Galaxy Drive-In

Opened in 2004, Galaxy Drive-In is one of the most popular drive-in theaters in North Texas. With seven screens, two snack bars, and a variety of feature films every night, this spot has transformed into the perfect destination for movie lovers over the years. The concessions menu consists of all the classic options, including soda, bottled drinks, candy bars, cotton candy, funnel cakes, nachos, pickles, pizza, and popcorn. No outside food or beverages are allowed to encourage visitors to support the theater and keep it operational.

Location: 5301 N Interstate Highway 45, Ennis.

Hours: The box office and snack bar open at 6 p.m. daily.

Ticket prices: Admission is $7 for adults and $4 for kids for two features. You can buy tickets online or at the box office.

The Brazos Drive-In

Family-owned since 1952, the Brazos Drive-In is one of the only drive-in theaters in continuous operation since the ’50s. The concessions menu features various drinks and food, from coffee to popcorn to ice cream. This venue is also available for private events like birthday parties, anniversary parties, and family reunions.

Location: 1800 W Pearl St., Granbury.

Hours: Gates open one hour and 15 minutes before dusk and close 15 minutes after the feature begins on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The theater is closed during certain seasons, so check the website or contact the hosts for more details.

Graham Drive-In Theatre

Graham Drive-In Theatre shows double features Friday through Sunday. This theater’s primary source of income is the snack bar, as film companies collect most of the ticket sales. The menu includes hot dogs, sweet tea, popcorn, pickles, ice cream, and push pops.

It’s a bit of a drive away from Fort Worth, but The Showboat Drive-In Theater might just be worth it. You can order concessions online or through an app. Concessions are available.
