Convenient Remote Access

The MyMazda remote is built into the MyMazda app, giving you a full suite of controls that let you operate your vehicle from a distance. These include:

• Remote start/stop: Warm up or pre-cool your vehicle to enjoy optimal comfort as soon as you enter. You can shut your vehicle off remotely using the same button on your smartphone.
• Lock/unlock functionality: Lock and unlock the doors with the tap of a finger so you or others can get into the vehicle more easily. It’s convenient if you’ve left something in the car and need to give a friend or family member temporary access.
• Flash vehicle lights: Use this button to flash your vehicle’s lights to easily locate it in a large parking lot or garage.
• Vehicle finder: Use your Mazda’s GPS locator to find your car on a map in real time. The app will even tell you the exact address where your vehicle is parked, when it was parked there, and how far it is from you. Tap the “Flash Lights” button on the vehicle finder screen, and your horn will beep twice as the hazard lights flash 10 times.

Maintenance Reminders and Service History

The MyMazda app provides service recommendations based on your vehicle’s year, model, mileage, and typical driving conditions. You can view upcoming maintenance needs and milestones at a glance and search for and select service appointments at your preferred dealer when required.

The MyMazda app also displays the service history you manually enter, so you’ll have a convenient place to store details on your oil changes, tire rotations, and other recurring services. Use the app to search for recalls to ensure there’s nothing amiss with your Mazda, and schedule service right at the bottom of the screen if a recall does pop up.

Roadside Assistance and Emergency Services

The MyMazda app connects you directly to 24/7 emergency roadside assistance. You can contact roadside assistance via email, give them a call, or submit your assistance request directly through the app by following the on-screen prompts. Once you’ve completed your request, you’ll get a reference number to check its status in the app.

Exclusive Offers and Discounts

You can register a preferred dealer in the app to connect easily with the dealership you use most. Search by name, zip code, or on a map to find the right location. You can then check your preferred dealer’s current service offers via the app and route right to their location when you want to cash in on a great deal. You’ll also find special offers exclusive to app users, so you can save more just by using this great tool.

Vehicle Health Reports and Diagnostics

Tap the “Status” icon on the main page of the MyMazda app to view the fuel level, odometer reading, and air pressure of each tire. The status screen will also tell you if your vehicle is locked or unlocked and whether the hood is latched.

You can check up on your vehicle via its vehicle health report, which is found under the “Service” section of the main navigation menu. This report details the tire air pressure and engine oil status. It includes recommendations for your next oil change and vehicle inspection as well. If any warning lights are illuminated in your vehicle, you’ll see them here. If you’re due for service, you can click to schedule it right from this screen.

Open the menu and go to “My Mazda” to find a wealth of information about your vehicle. You won’t need to fumble in the glove box and page through a hefty manual to learn about optimizing your experience behind the wheel; you can discover more about your Mazda with just a few taps in the handy smartphone app.

The MyMazda app provides your vehicle identification number, or VIN, as well as the current mileage and a list of your vehicle’s drivers. You can see the engine specs and trim level here as well.
