Kalachandji’s is a vegetarian restaurant that’s inside a Hare Krishna temple on Gurley Avenue. All of its dishes omit meat, fish, and eggs. It also adheres to certain Hindu denominations by keeping onion and garlic out of its food. Kalachandji’s further caters to people with dietary restrictions by clearly indicating menu items that are free of dairy and gluten.

The establishment is buffet-style, and you can fill your plate with delicious foods like homemade bread, vegetable curry, steamed vegetables, and bean soup. Kalachandji’s makes a point to have a rotating international entree available. It changes every day, so you may find barbecued tofu on your first visit and lasagna on your next. Here, the staff uses only locally sourced ingredients and garden-grown vegetables to prepare incredible dishes. One of our favorite appetizers is the mint and garlic yogurt, which comes with fresh slices of cucumbers. Another can’t-miss dish is the Baba Ghannouj, which is a smoked eggplant blended with lemon, garlic, and tahini.

If you come to Hedary’s with a large group, you can get the Family Feast. This entree deal comes with multiple starters and main courses that are sure to satisfy everyone. You can also get Turkish coffee and dessert add-ons for a small fee. Prime Farm to Table

Prime Farm to Table is a cozy restaurant that’s tucked away between a strip of shops just outside of Fort Worth. When the weather is nice, you can dine outside on the patio. On drearier days, you can still enjoy an upscale meal inside the establishment’s clean and inviting dining area.

Prime Farm to Table changes its menu daily because its ingredients come fresh from local farms. Every menu lists the names of the farms where the food originates from, which creates great conversational points throughout your meal. There’s something special about knowing exactly where your food comes from, and Prime Farm to Table offers this unique experience.

Even though the menu changes regularly, you can still expect high-quality food on each visit. Some delicious appetizers that are available include a local cheese board with honey and apple chutney, tempura Brussels sprouts, and raw oysters. For the main course, you can order scrumptious dishes like the house-smoked salmon sandwich and the warm New England lobster roll.

Dakota’s Steakhouse

When you come to Dakota’s Steakhouse, you get stellar customer service and a unique culinary experience. The customer service starts before you even step foot in the restaurant, as Dakota’s Steakhouse offers free valet parking. Once you get inside, you’ll find elegant tables with fine white tablecloths and full dinner plate settings. The knowledgeable and friendly waitstaff will recommend their favorites and answer any questions you have about the menu.

You can start your meal with delicious hors d’oeuvres like the deviled egg or the oysters Rockefeller with hollandaise and creamed spinach. If you want something from the grill for your main course, you’ll be in luck. The Allen Brothers age and cut all of Dakota’s USDA Prime Steaks, and the restaurant finishes the cooking process in a 1,200-degree Montague broiler. You can also enjoy any one of the establishment’s specialties, which include the herb chicken piccata and the catch of the day that comes with an herb salad.

If you like this restaurant’s menu, you’ll love the history behind it. When the First Dallas Baptist Church sold Dakota Steakhouse’s land, it prohibited any future owner from selling alcohol on the property. The owners of Dakota’s found a loophole by building the establishment almost 20 feet below street level to not break the terms of the agreement. Dakota’s Steakhouse continues to capture the essence of this quiet rebellion with its revolutionary steaks and delicious cocktails.

Chef Point Cafe

Upon first glance, patrons may not think of Chef Point Cafe as anything more than a gas station. When they step inside, they’re able to see that Chef Point Cafe is more than what initially meets the eye. Chef Point Cafe is a quaint diner where passersby can fill up on gas and enjoy a nice meal. Some of the patrons’ favorite meals include the chicken and waffles, the chicken parmigiana, and the Monte Cristo sandwich.
