If you’re looking for an outdoor playground for your precious pooch, look no further than these eight engaging and spacious dog parks in the Fort Worth area. From separate fenced-in communities for both large and small dogs to plenty of open spaces for playing fetch, these recreational areas boast amenities galore for you and your favorite canine.

ZBonz Dog Park

Situated on 10 acres, ZBonz is an off-leash dog park perfect for pups of all breeds and sizes. It features two separate areas for small and large dogs, with 7 acres set aside for larger breeds and 3 acres for the littlest canines. The park comes equipped with everything a dog would love for playtime, including a wide range of challenging and fun agility items, pet fountains for rehydration, and two aerated ponds for dogs who absolutely love the water.

Pet moms and dads can sit on the park benches to relax and watch their canine loved ones. After an afternoon of playtime, stop by the dog wash station and leave your dog bag at one of the 12 waste stations. 

ZBonz is located at 6950 Camp Bowie West Boulevard and open daily from 5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. It’s closed each Monday for scheduled maintenance from 6 a.m. to noon.

Fort Woof Dog Park

Fort Woof Dog Park is another favorite off-leash recreational area among local dog lovers. It includes separate fenced-in areas for both large and small pets and water spigots when your pooch gets thirsty after chasing a ball or playing with canine friends. For pups of all ages and sizes to play at Fort Woof, they must be licensed and have their current rabies vaccinations and tags. While this park is an off-leash area, dogs must remain leashed while exiting and entering the fenced-in property.

Fort Woof is open daily from 5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and is lighted at night for the convenience of humans and hounds alike. You can find Fort Woof at 751 Beach Street, just inside Gateway Park.

Tails ‘N Trails Dog Park

Tails ‘N Trails Dog Park features both wooded and open areas for the enjoyment of your favorite hound. Many locals have been pleased with this beautiful and well-maintained park that is fully fenced and contains drinking water for your pooches. Tails ‘N Trails is another off-leash dog park located about 25 miles from Fort Worth in Arlington on Green Oaks Boulevard. It’s open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and closed every Tuesday morning from 5 a.m. to noon for regular maintenance. 

Euless Dog Park

Euless Dog Park, located in Euless on Bear Creek Parkway, is a clean and well-kept recreational area for everyone’s favorite canine. While it is an off-leash park, dogs must be leashed as they enter and exit the secured, fenced-in space, for their safety as well as that of dogs and humans nearby.

This park boasts several amenities, such as canine drinking fountains, doggie rinsing stations, cleanup tools, waste baggies, trash cans, and more. While it doesn’t list official park hours online, residents have reported it opens in the early morning and closes at 9 p.m.

Keenum-Shelton Dog Park

Keenum-Shelton Dog Park is a dream for owners of energetic and sport-loving dogs. With separate areas for large and small dogs, this park is well-known for its shade trees, benches, and engaging agility equipment for the dog with boundless energy. Let your pooch run through a large tube or up and over a slanted ramp with their fellow playmates. Even the smallest breeds can have fun jumping through tire swings or chasing their friends on a balance beam situated low to the ground.

Keenum-Shelton is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is located at 3217 Dakota Trail, in Lake Worth, Texas.

Tipps Canine Hollow Dog Park

Tipps Canine Hollow Dog Park is a 5-acre off-leash dog park on Davis Boulevard in North Richland Hills, about 10 miles from Fort Worth. Amenities abound in this doggie recreational area, including drinking fountains, water stations for dogs, shaded seating areas, picnic tables, pet waste stations, and separate contained areas for large and small dogs. Tipps Canine Hollow is known for its responsible and friendly pet owners and has plenty of parking, even on the busiest of days. 

While this dog park is open every day from 7 a.m. until dusk, it is closed on Wednesdays from 7 to 11 a.m. for weekly cleaning and maintenance.

Golden Triangle Dog Park

A pet-friendly recreational area in Fort Worth, Golden Triangle Dog Park is every dog’s dream playground. Large and small pups each have their own sections so they can play with others their size in a secure, fenced-in area. Each section is equipped with water fountains, various doggie toys, and fake fire hydrants for your beloved pooch. Dog owners can enjoy water fountains, plenty of parking, and benches to sit and watch your furry friend run and play. 

Golden Triangle Dog Park is located at 1929 Golden Heights Road and open every day of the week from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Rush Creek Dog Park

Rush Creek Dog Park is a gated doggie community featuring 5 acres of fenced paddocks, benches, shaded areas, water fountains, two parking lots, and lighting. Locals boast that this is one of their favorite outdoor dog areas, as it has plenty of space to run or play fetch. You might find a few tennis balls and other dog toys here, in case you forget to bring your own. 

If you have multiple canines, you can bring up to three dogs per visit. All dog owners are required to clean up after their dogs and must keep their pets on leashes until they enter the secured area. Rush Creek is open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and closed on Wednesdays until 12 p.m. for maintenance. It’s located on 1900 Valleywood Drive in Arlington, Texas, about 20 miles from Fort Worth.
