Andalous Mediterranean Grill- Arlington

With many Texas locations, the Andalous Mediterranean Grill is sure to have fantastic options for Lebanese and Greek foods. The restaurants were opened by twins, Sam and Wassim. Both chefs ran their family’s restaurants and decided to branch out on their own with this new spin on Middle Eastern food. 

Much of their menu comes from a blend of their mother’s recipes and years of research and training.  You can order a family meal or single dishes for yourself. Get five dolmas or some spanakopita for an appetizer, or order a chicken shawarma sandwich. Try some of their handmade bread or the charcoal-cooked kebabs. Those with dietary restrictions won’t be let out either. They have low carb, low calorie, and vegetarian offerings. 

Aladdin Cafe

Eat your fill with large portions from Aladdin Cafe. Order a shish combo, some baba ganoush, or a chicken kabob. Where this place lacks in ambiance, it more than makes up for in taste. The owner and chef, Younes, puts his heart and soul into the cafe, which is evident in the quality of his food. He and his wife get inspiration from their mother’s and grandmother’s recipes to give you authentic Greek and Lebanese cuisine. 

Prince Lebanese Grill

Not far away in Arlington, you have another Lebanese dining option. Prince Lebanese Grill has been family-owned and operated since 1989. Owner Francis Kobty, whose nickname is “The Prince,” could never find food that he liked. This led him to open his own restaurant, serving fresh, high-quality food to his customers.  Kobty and his family focus on serving food they pour their hearts into, from their light and crispy falafels to their shawarma plates. 

The food comes in large, Texas-sized portions and even uses some of Kobty’s mothers original recipes. Try their Prince Lebanese special, baklava, Greek salad, and gyro plates. Food from this tasty grill can be eaten onsite, delivered, or picked up as takeout. They are even available for catering your special event or office party.
