Mazda CX-3MAZDA CX-3

The 2021 Mazda CX-3 is Mazda’s smallest SUV, and it’s available in the single well-equipped Sport trim. With its compact dimensions, the CX-3 is perfect for negotiating city streets and squeezing into tight parking spaces. Under the CX-3’s hood is a punchy 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 148 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque via a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, or you can opt for the i-Activ all-wheel-drive system.

Exterior features include adaptive front lighting, LED headlights and daytime running lights, rain-sensing wipers, 16-inch alloy wheels, and dual bright exhaust tips. Inside, the CX-3 has room for five people along with 17.8 cubic feet of luggage space. Folding down the 60/40 split rear seats gives you a 42.7-cubic-foot cargo area.

In the driver-focused cabin, you’ll find a push-button start, an active driving display, automatic climate control, and a tilting and telescoping steering column. The Mazda Connect infotainment system offers Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, Bluetooth, voice command, and a six-speaker audio system with an internet radio. Control is via a 7-inch touch screen or the convenient multifunction commander control.

Safety is one of the highest priorities in Mazda vehicles, and the CX-3 has many standard driver assistance features. It offers lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go.

Mazda CX-302022 MAZDA CX-30

If you’d prefer a little more power and interior space, the Mazda CX-30 might be for you. It’s offered in 2.5 S, Select, Preferred, Premium, 2.5 Turbo, 2.5 Turbo Premium, and 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus trim levels.

Standard power is provided by a responsive 186-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, delivering 186 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels or the available all-wheel-drive system. The Turbo models come standard with all-wheel drive and feature a turbocharged 2.5-liter engine that develops 227 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque or, by using 93 octane fuel, 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque.

The CX-30 2.5 S sits on 16-inch alloy wheels, while the other trims feature 18-inch wheels. The Preferred trim and up get a power moonroof and the Premium trim adds a power liftgate. Inside, you get 20.2 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats in place or 45.2 cubic feet with them folded.

The base model features cloth upholstery, a large 8.8-inch infotainment touch screen, and eight-speaker audio. The Select trim adds simulated leather seats and dual-zone automatic climate control, while the Preferred trim and up gives you heated, power-adjustable front seats. Premium models and above add leather upholstery, paddle shifters, a head-up display, navigation, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system with satellite radio.

Standard safety features for the CX-30 include driver attention alert, lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, and automatic high beam control. Higher spec models have added features such as blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive front lighting. The top-of-the-range Premium Plus offers automatic emergency rear braking, traffic jam assist, front and rear parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system.

Mazda CX-5MAZDA CX-5

The Mazda CX-5 is a small SUV that drives more like a sports sedan thanks to its sharp handling and performance. You can choose from Sport, Touring, Carbon Edition, Grand Touring, Carbon Edition Turbo, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature trim levels.

The engine options are the same as for the CX-30, with the Carbon Edition Turbo, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature models getting the 2.5-liter turbo. The top two trims come standard with all-wheel drive, which is optional for the other models.

New for 2021, the Carbon Edition trims offer street-smart styling with exclusive gray metallic paint and unique black trim, grille, and wheels. Sport and Touring models feature 17-inch wheels, with the other trims getting 19-inch wheels. The Carbon Edition and above feature a height-programmable power liftgate.

With a full complement of five passengers, you have a generous 30.9-cubic-foot cargo area, while putting down the 40/20/40-split one-touch folding second-row gives you 59.6 cubic feet for all your gear.

The Carbon Edition and up feature leather upholstery and heated power-adjustable front seats, while the top two trims add ventilated front seats and heated rear seats and steering wheel. The CX-5’s infotainment system features a 10.25-inch color display and is controlled by the multifunction commander control. Every trim offers a suite of driver assistance technologies.

Mazda CX-9MAZDA CX-9

At the pinnacle of Mazda’s SUV lineup at Hiley Mazda of Fort Worth is the spacious and luxurious CX-9, a three-row midsize crossover that seats up to seven. Offered in Sport, Touring, Carbon Edition, Grand Touring, and Signature trim levels, every CX-9 is powered by the 2.5-liter turbocharged engine. All-wheel drive is optional for all models except the Signature trim, on which it comes standard.

The Mazda CX-9 sits on 18- or 20-inch wheels and features LED front and rear lighting and rain-sensing wipers. The Carbon Edition and above adds adaptive lighting and LED fog lights. The cabin offers plenty of room for the whole family, while folding the second- and third-row seats gives you 71.2 cubic feet of cargo space.

All but the Sport trim feature leather upholstery, with the Carbon Edition offering red leather, while the Signature trim gets quilted nappa leather seats with contrast piping. Each model gets the 10.25-inch central display, and the Carbon Edition and up feature a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
