If you’re looking for decadent, gourmet brunch fare, B&B is the place to be. For a sweet start to the day, try Gramma June’s monkey bread recipe or the sugar-dusted Good Morning Pizza with Nutella, bananas, and strawberries. Try something truly different and order the Carpet Bagger on the Half Shell. This dish features pork belly, a slice of filet, cheese sauce, and sriracha on a crispy fried oyster. Egg lovers can choose from several scrambles or go with a sausage-wrapped Scotch egg.

If you’re ready for something really filling, the B&B prime rib hash is topped with thick-cut bacon, poached eggs, and hollandaise. The Butcher’s Benedict takes eggs benedict to the next level with blackened filet and griddle onions under the egg. The extensive menu features these mouthwatering dishes and many more, so you can satisfy any craving at the start of the day.

Blue Mesa

Blue Mesa serves an all-you-can-eat brunch every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The menu includes biscuits and gravy, huevos rancheros, and breakfast potatoes for a breakfast feel. If you’re in the mood for lunch, check out the enchiladas, adobe pie, or southwest Caesar salad.

You can also make your own entrée at the taco station or pick up made-to-order omelets with all your favorite toppings. The buffet also includes Belgian waffles served one of two ways. Go sweet with whipped cream and berries or combine sweet and savory with a classic chicken and waffles.

Complete your morning with one of several brunch cocktails. You can go with a margarita, Bloody Mary, sangria, or specialty cocktails like the Classic Blue or Cucumber Jalapeno Smash.

Brewed

Brunch at Brewed promises to fill you up with hearty Texas favorites like the pulled pork hash, chicken and waffles, brewed burger, or skillet shrimp and grits. Biscuit lovers can’t go wrong at Brewed. The Magnolia Chicken Biscuit comes topped with crispy chicken, smoked bacon, provolone, and spicy honey. The Southside Benny features smoked ham, bacon, grilled onion and jalapenos, over-easy eggs, and IPA sausage cream gravy. Up your chicken and waffle game with the Chicken and Mac & Cheese Waffle, which adds macaroni, five kinds of cheese, cheese sauce, and green onions.

If you want something sweet for brunch, the New Orleans Style Bread Pudding French Toast is sure to please. Combine sweet and savory with the Bacon Banana Belgian Waffle, topped with Nutella, caramelized bananas, and Espresso whipped cream. Creative dishes like these make Brewed a must-try stop for brunch.

Cat City Grill

Cat City Grill serves brunch on weekends from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. You can keep things light with a quiche and Caesar salad or order a hearty meal like the sausage and biscuits, which comes with scrambled eggs and corn poblano hash. If you’re craving a sweet start, try the house-baked cinnamon roll with caramel sauce or the cinnamon French toast, complete with a side of bacon and scrambled eggs.

Don’t forget to complete your brunch with a delicious drink like a Bloody Mary, mimosa, screwdriver, or bellini. Cat City also offers non-alcoholic options, including coffee, orange juice, tea, and soda.

Joe T. Garcia’s Restaurant

Joe T. Garcia’s serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Though small, the menu features enough Mexican favorites to fill any belly. You can choose traditional dishes like chilaquilas, migas, or huevos rancheros with a hearty side of refried beans and Mexican-style potatoes. The chorrizo y papas on huevos features two eggs scrambled with spicy sausage and potatoes and beans and guacamole on the side. The huevos a la mexicana includes scrambled eggs with onions, tomatoes, and jalapenos. A spicy menudo soup fills out the menu, so there’s a little of everything.

Joe T. Garcia’s also serves a wide selection of beverages, including coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice, milk, Mexican coke, lemonade, topo chico, and Jarritos. If you’d like something from the bar, you’ll find several different margaritas as well as wine, beers, sangria, and champagne.

Little Red Wasp Kitchen + Bar

Grab brunch at Little Red Wasp on Saturday or Sunday and shake up your morning with delicious creations. The restaurant adds a little something extra to all of its dishes, like berries on the French toast and sunny side up eggs on the corned beef hash. Though you won’t find traditional biscuits and gravy on the menu, you’ll find black pepper gravy slathered on the chicken biscuit and Pederson’s hot ham + cheese.

If you’d prefer lunch fare, you can also order sandwiches like the Reuben, crispy chicken, roasted Portobello, and blackened ocean trout. For a lighter start to the day, you can opt to go with some appetizers like Parker House rolls with scallion butter and sea salt, deviled eggs with spicy pickles, or avocado toast with a sunny side up egg. Little Red Wasp caters to any kind of appetite.
